Dr. Kasaiah Makam is an Interventional Clinical Cardiologist with expertise in Interventional Cardiology, Clinical Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology, Vascular Medicine and Peripheral Interventions. Dr. Makam graduated his medical school from Zaporozhye State Medical University, Ukraine before moving to USA. He completed his Internal Medicine training and Chief Residency at University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his clinical cardiology training at Christiana Care Health Services, Delaware and continued his advanced training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ, completing both his Vascular and Coronary Interventional Fellowships. He is also trained to perform the novel Aortic Valve Replacement using endovascular technique without requiring open heart surgery in qualified patient population.
Dr. Makam holds multiple Board Certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Physicians’ Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Makam is an active member of American College of Cardiology and is fluent in speaking Telugu and Russian.
